Hutdraht benötigte die Putzmacherin zum Zusammenbinden von Accessoires, die zum Beispiel in Form einer Blüte als Hutschmuck Verwendung fanden. Das Rolle stammt aus dem Besitz der Dresdner Putzmacherin Regina Patzschewitz, die vor 1990 ein Hutatlier auf der Kesselsdorfer Straße betrieb.
