Die grüne Glasflasche mit Röhrenhals, wulstiger Mündung und gepresster Beschriftung „Blutan“ beinhaltete einst ein alkoholfreies Stärkungsmittel der Chemischen Fabrik Helfenberg A. G., vormals Eugen Dieterich in Helfenberg bei Dresden, die dafür das Deutsche Reichs-Patent Nr. 183551 angemeldet hatte (vgl. historische Annonce von 1912).
