Description

Die Klistierspritze der Größe "No. 3" (Schlagstempel) besteht aus einem zusammensteckbaren Zinnzylinder, unten mit Düsenausgang und oben mit einschiebbarem Holzstempel zum Herauspressen des Wassers.
Mit der Spritze (Klistier, Klysma) konnte eine Analspülung, Analdusche oder Darmspülung ausgeführt werden. Das Einleiten einer Flüssigkeit über den Anus in den Darm wird als Einlauf bezeichnet. Anwendung finden Einläufe gegen Verstopfung und zur Darmreinigung.
