Description

Pechsteins, der 1915 in Zwickau für den Kriegsdienst ausgebildet wird und schließlich an der Westfront in Flandern kämpft, ist während des Ersten Weltkrieges auch als Kartograf in militärischen Kartenstellen tätig. Er nutzt den Zugang zum Vervielfältigungssystem der Kriegshektografien, um Eindrücke wie Erlebnisse von der Front darzustellen.
