Description

Das präparierte Objekt ist ein Jungvogel eines Eichelhähers.
Eichelhäher führen eine monogame Saisonehe mit einer Jahresbrut. Im dichten Geäst der aumkronen oder -wipfel sucht das Männchen einen Nistplatz. Das Weibchen legt etwa vier bis sechs Eier in die Nestmulde. Nach etwa 17 Tagen Bebrütung schlüpfen die Jungen. Die Nestlingzeit beträgt ca. 22 Tage.
