Der Einband des Musterbuches besteht aus Plastik und Pappe. Es beinhaltet mit Rundkopfklammern geheftete Proben unterschiedlicher Designs für Bettwäsche in weiß und gelb. Alle zwölf Proben sind mit einem Etikett und Bezeichnungen zu Dessin, Qualität und Farbe versehen. Das Musterbuch ist vergleichsweise kleinformatig. Auf der Hülle Stempel von "Thomas, Staatl. Leiter der TKO, 1.8.83."
