Der sehr große und sehr schwere Serpentinmörser hat eine hohe Muldenform mit gerundetem Innenboden, eine sich nach oben weitende Wandung mit glattem Rand. Der ehemals zugehörige Serpentinstößel wurde ergänzt. Serpentinmörser dienen zum Verreiben weicher und säurefreier Stoffe. Der Mörser wurde in der Dohnaer Apotheke Am Markt 2 benutzt. Größe und Material des Mörsers stellen ein imposantes Statussymbol dar.
