Der Bierzapfhahn, auch oft als Schankhahn bezeichnet, besteht Holz. Er dient der Steuerung des Bierflusses aus einem Fass. Der konische Zapfen wird zum Verschluss des Fasses in das Spundloch geschlagen. Der Zapfhahn ist in einfacher Bauart.
