Die Tusche- und Bleistiftzeichnung zeigt eine dörfliche Szene auf den Bleichwiesen vor einer Gartenmauer. Dargestellt ist eine Frau beim Wäscheaufhängen und -auslegen auf dem Bleichplatz. Das Blatt ist auf dem Passepartout signiert und datiert von "W. Fischer 1842".
