Auf die Rückseite einer rechteckigen transparenten Glasplatte ist ein ebenso großes Stück Papier geklebt. Zwischen dem aufgeklebten Papier und der Glasplatte befindet sich eine Abbildung. Auf der Abbildung ist ein mittelalterliches Tor mit einem Turm zu sehen. Bei dem Tor handelt es sich um das 1385 erbaute Kreuztor in Ingolstadt. Links oben neben dem Turm ist mit schwarzer Farbe das Wort "Kreuztor" in der Kabinett-Fraktur geschrieben. In der linken oberen Ecke der Abbildung ist eine mit Bleistift geschriebene "9" zu finden. Dieses Schriftmuster kann mit dem Leitz Epidiaskop (Inv.-Nr. MO-184) projiziert werden.
