Dieser auf der Unterseite geritzte Hornhautraspler wurde in Kashan (Iran) im 18. Jahrhundert produziert. Die Form erinnert an eine vollständige oder hälftige Porzellanschnecke. Das Dekor mit Blättern und Ranken in dunkelblauer Farbe auf weißem Grund ähnelt dem typisch blau-weiß dekorierten Porzellan, das in der Zeit der Ming-Dynastie massenweise von China nach Persien importiert wurde. Schenkung von Ph. Walter Schulz, Berlin, 1907. 1898 in Isfahan erworben.
