Der Besteckkasten besteht aus Holz und ist außen mit schwarzem strukturiertem Papier bezogen. Die Innenflächen sind mit schwarzem Filz beklebt. In der Mitte des Unterteils befindet sich eine Erhöhung, so dass eine Zweiteilung des Kastens vorhanden ist. Der Deckel ist mit zwei Scharnieren am Unterteil befestigt. Mit einer einfachen Schließe wird der Besteckkasten verschlossen. Zum Tragen dient ein Henkel aus Leder. Der Kasten zeigt Gebrauchsspuren.
