Description

Das Exponat zeigt ausgewachsene Kristalle in einer Spitzpyramidalform, einen Harzglanz und muscheligen Bruch.
Schwefel kommt in vulkanischen Regionen vor, besonders in der Nähe vulkanischer Gasaustritte oder Gänge. Er wird beispielweise bei der Düngemittelproduktion verwendet, kommt aber auch bei der Herstellung von Schwefelsäure für Batterien, zur Erzeugung von Schießpulver und in der Weinproduktion zum Einsatz.
