Titelblatt.-----.für Violioncello und Klavier, MWV Q 32....Titelblatt, deutsche Erstausgabe....Die gesamte Familie Mendelssohn Bartholdy war äußerst musikalisch. Fanny Hensel, Mendelssohns ältere Schwester hatte sich ebenfalls als Komponistin und Pianistin einen Namen gemacht. Rebecka erhielt Gesangsunterricht, um ihre schöne Stimme auszubilden, und Paul spielte hervorragend Violoncello. Für ihn komponierte Mendelssohn die Sonate op. 58, auch wenn sie offiziell dem Grafen Wielhorsky gewidmet wurde.......Diese Ausgabe stammt aus dem Besitz von Paul Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, dem Bruder des Komponisten.
