Description

Eine Vorrichtung zum Plissieren von Gewebe.
Der gestärkte Stoff wurde noch feucht auf das Brett gelegt und die Walze darauf hin und her gerollt. Auf diese Weise entstanden feine und dauerhafte Plisseefalten. Brett und Walze sind braun und geriffelt. Die beiden Walzgriffe haben umlaufende schmale Ringmulden.
Das Plissierbrett wurde Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts verwendet.
