Die Majolika-Schale aus der Sammlung der Leipziger Apothekerfamilie Linck zeigt eine bislang ungedeutet Szene, vermutlich aus der antiken Mythologie. In - für Produkte aus Faenza typischer - flüchtig-skizzenhafter Manier sind drei Männer in Legionärs-Kleidung zu sehen, die einen Weg entlangschreiten. Im Hintergrund angedeutet sind mehrere Lager (Castra). Erworben für die Linck-Sammlung vor 1787, belegt im Linck-Index III. (1787) als "Patina argillacea. Eine töpferne Schüssel, mit Figuren vom dem berühmten Raphael eigenhändig gemahlt. Dieses Töpferzeug wird Mayolica genannt. (aufgest. No. 417)" Eine weitere Majolika-Schale aus der Linck-Sammlung kam später in den Bestand (siehe NAT 0002).
